The Gary Player signature golf course at the DLF Golf & Country Club is set to open in the last week of October.

World's renowned Golf Player and global leader in golf course design, Gary Player, has assisted DLF Golf Club and Resorts in the major golf course overhaul through his responsible and sustainable design techniques. Gary Player, often referred to as the Black Knight, is one of the century's greatest golfers and one of the original inductees into the World Golf Hall of Fame. He is one of only five golfers to ever win the Grand Slam on the PGA Tour and the only golfer to win the Grand Slam on both the regular and Champions Tour.

Result? A course that is unique so that a golfer who finishes playing has had a very positive experience. What's more? The course will cater to all level of golfers providing enjoyment for the average 15 to 20 handicap golfer, whilst also being capable of being set up for a major tournament.

Following the opening of the initial 9-holes, Gary Player Design will then begin a redesign of the back nine of the existing DLF Golf and Country Club course. Together the 9-hole courses will compose India's first 18-hole Gary Player Signature golf course that will be a new standard in India.

About 10,000 trees were planted along with shrubbery and there are water bodies as well. The scenic parkland style layout premier golf course provides golfers with a unique style of luxury and a truly rewarding experience at DLF.
